Upgrading Braks

Not a bad idea. Are the older 95-97 brakes smaller?

IIRC the 90's AKA LT1 rear rotors were 11.5", the 98-03 AKA LS1 rear rotors are 12".

Clearance for 15" rims only comes into play with the rear brakes. The fronts ( if using the Blazer setup ) should clear 15"s

Thanks I guess I have some research to do. What are the s10 front brakes anyways? 11.5

the s10 is the same as the stock gbody at IIRC 10.5 using hub and rotor on spindle with a single piston caliper.
The 98-03 2wd blazer uses a sealed hub bearing, 11" rotor, and twin piston caliper.

Not much more surface area vs stock but the twin piston caliper should produce more clamping force
