Upgrading 7.5 to a 4.10/4.56

I have a true trac 26 spline unit which is the upgrade torsen posi unit. Beefier made by Eaton detroit locker company. It is about 350.00 Jim

agreed, i tried to get a 7.5 to live behind a low 12 car. i went through 2 7.5, they both had bent axle tubes even though i had them welded. bent the axles, ripped my driveshaft out....it was messy

when i got my car as a roller it had a broken axle, guy had a mild big block in the car, i put a new axle in, had a auburn posi with a richmond 4.10, 4500 stall more mild small block 360 mabe 410ish horse, th-350 on 28x10.5s and never had a problem, but in my head i knew i was runnin on borrowd time

i broke mine this weekend. it broke on its 6th pass down the track in its life span and 250 miles of street driving. i was always told "you'll get a couple seasons out of it blah, blah, blah". if i could do it over from the start, i'd save the money i spent on the 7.5 and build a 9" right away.

having said that....want to buy a 7.5 with only 1 axle? lol.
