I dont know why anyone wiould build an old school V8

Seems to be a growing trend to go LSX.. they make power so easily.. even with a carb still, the LSX sounds like the way to go.

what brand mounts and where did you get them?
I got my 5.3 today :twisted:

I used the s-10 LS1 conversion mounts, If I had to do it again I might have tried the older a body conversion mounts, they use the old small block chevy 3 hole block mounts with the stock frame pads. Either way you have to shim it up to clear the pan

well I ordered trandapt 4592's. hopefully they'll work fine. I wanted those billet ones by s and p but they only offer them in their kit.

I like more info on those mounts. I am gonna use the ls2 motor in mine.
