I have been thinking about this for awhile now of turboing the malibu, filling the bottle will get old after while even though i will prob lieve it on the car haha. I no alot needs to be changed in my combo to do this, but im wanting to hear idea's on what I would need. I dont have a huge budget but I dont really want ebay turbos either. Ill put the combo as it sits now.
383sbc 4 bolt main.
forged 4340 eagle crank 3.750 stroke
forged 4340 H beam 6in rods
forged probe pistons 11 to 1(needs changed haha)
main studs and good bolts in everything block is not filled and engine is zero decked
sportman 2 heads ported
vic jr ported also with pro systems fogger, 850cfm carb
cam is a 582 586 mech roller( needs to be changed i would think)
th350 4000stall and a brake
9in ford spool 4.56 gears(needs to be changed.
I dont no what would be best single or twins, this car is street driven and i would maybe like to see it a little more drive able turbo then how it sits now. I no I want to intercool it maybe a2a or a2w. I want to be able to have a passanger so maybe a2a. The thing that has always scared me is the fab work, its got to look nice not a hack job.
