teflon tape on brake lines...

just re-plumbed my brakes and am having trouble getting some of the line "joints" to seal. can teflon tape be used or is there a better solution? thanks for all and any input...wannabe

Pretty sure that is one of the big no no's on brake lines. You may have different fittings or maybe need recheck the flare.

The flare makes the seal, not the threads. Give flaring the lines another try.

You don't use any type of sealant on any flare connection. Making good double flares takes some practice. Just keep trying.
