Starting to think I made a mistake in my build

I'm doing a frame off on an 80 2-door bu. I still haven't set in stone the direction of this car. If it'll be pro-touring or road course. Either way it'll share time with the street.

Now my reason for thinking I made a mistake is this. I've got the TNT solid body mounts which I'm going to use. But I've also just gotten poly bushings for everything suspension related. Now, after more reading that I've stumbled upon this week, it seems most aren't happy with their poly setup b/c of harshness and squeeking.

I don't mind a car that's work to drive, I used to drive a car that would die every time I came to a stop if I didn't keep the gas pedal on.

Do any of you who have a complete poly setup regret it?

I'm pretty sure the lower a-arms (lowering arms I think, they were tubular, on the truck when I got it) in my '88 pickup had poly bushings, the thing squeaked all the time.
