ls1 swap in 79 malibu

I'am going to run the turbo350 tran's. need to know if i can keep the stock crossmember or not.And what motor mount's and plates to run to keep the truck oil pan and not have to trim the crossmember. Or that I need to do. also it has A/C and would like to keep. thanks for the help.

check out the father/son sight above. they are doing a similar swap.Also you can check out LS1tech.com and check out conversions and hybrids section there. good luck I've spent over a year checking every sight possible and I'm 95 % done with my swap. dancin_banana.gif do your research lots of kits out there if thats the way you want to go.also a wealth of info on internet, so much that you can learn too much and drive yourself crazy tring to decide what way to go.
