hyper pistons and 125 shot nos?

I have to agree with the majority. I ran 100 & 150 shot on my stock cast pieces in a 350 for a while. Held up good - until it didnt. It was tuned and timed just right and went on for close to a year with no probs. Then one day just couldnt handle it anymore. Did my rebuild using old school TRW forged as recommended above, and I splurged for full forged rotating assembly. Been hitting it with a 200 shot for quite a few years now with no probs.

And LS6 Tommy is exactly right - as soon as you hit it with 125, you will wanna hit it with 150 or 200 - you will always want more - til you're dumping the chunks of ring land or skirt out of your oil pan and into the trash can. Reasonably priced pistons can be had now. Even if you dont go with forged rods or crank. But my two cents - make sure your clearances and specs are just right on everything else so you dont end up with pistons that will handle it and other parts that wont
