LS1 vs LS6 intake

I would not think a cam change is worth 50hp. LS1 camaro and LS1 vette have different cam (vette bigger obviously).
Getting a tune also does not guarantee another 50hp.

an agressive cam alone will give 50-75 horse flywheel on a ls motor...

imho you cant state numbers like that.... if you have a setup with good heads, intake, bigger tb and headers, the cams holding it back and you can get good numbers out of it. Whereas with manifolds etc you wont. A good tune is mandatory with the mods and yes you'll gain over 50hp compared to no-tune but on a stock motor a tune wont make 35 more hp (countin 15hp for headers). it will make more hp in more places with better drivability and will probably make the most difference in your whole setup

how about 80 horse on a stock ls1???????? I have this cam in my car and a tune would be mandatory to keep it running at idle...
