Glasstek Cowl hood

Has anyone used the glasstek cowl hoods. I am wondering if they are as good a quality as the Harwood hoods. Does anyone have a picture of one on there car a bolt on i am looking at the 5in but i don't know it that is to much for driving on the street with. Thanks

thanks for the pic. I had to take a double take it looks just like my car, but i think that the 5in might be alittle much i might just go with the 4in. Thanks for the pic.

I have the Glasstek and have had two friends with the harwood pin ons and the quality of the glasstek is 10xs better. I have heard horror stories of the harwoods delaminating and flying apart with age. The guys at Glasstek are great to deal with and very helpful.

yea. i just got mine today and it looks great and now i am thinking about ordering a front bumper. How much weight will that save me.

sounds good to me, i was shopping for a hood, might go with glasstek. also, does anyone have the glasstek lower bumper pieces that replace the chrome? i was going to paint over the chrome anyway. anyone have pictures of them on a car?

a friend of mine has there bumper and it looks pretty good. I think that i am going to order one to. if you get the hood you might order the bumper to to save money on shipping.

My 5" Glasstek is fine on the street. I don't have any problems seeing. My personal preference is to have the lowest hood you can get. If the motor will clear a 4", it gets my vote.
