getting ready to do some wiring and I need a multimeter to help sort some things out. some of the meters I have looked at have a 10a max amp dc/ac measure capability, which might not help with a 15-20 amp fan connection. anyone have any suggestions on brand, price, where to buy? thx...wannabe

Craftsman ones are good... They do the job. Ive had my fluke 73 for over 10 years now. I wouldn't worry too much about measuring the fan current. Voltage and ohms / continuity are the common modes used.
