Clear coating aluminum radiator support

Did you test fit the rad support?

I know if you install them on Malibu's they have to be modified slightly.

Hate to see it get powdercoated and then have to get cut up.

Old time bodyman I know that worked at an Olds dealer when these were new cars told me the aluminum was just whatever they could get, and is hard to weld due to the unknown content. Kinda like the red iron in steel buildings, i guess...sort of a free-for-all on what goes into the smelter.

I think RatMalibu powdered his an aluminum color

i know this is an old thread but i have an alum. support that i had glass beaded,i water washed it,clear coated it(light coats)with rattle can,its benn on over a year,still looks like new,

Use lacquer (rattle can) clear- won't yellow over aluminum
