In about three weeks I'm taking my 84' Monte to have the 700r4 transmission instaslled.It currently has a th 400 with the 12 bolt rear.........I have the orighinal driveshaft that came with the car when it had the th-350.....I want to have a driveshaft made and take it to the transmission shop when I drop my baby off......I was told with the original th-350 driveshaft all I would have to do is cut 3" off of it and it will slide right in....anyone ever done this swap and can verify?
