A 4.250 bore and a 4.250 stroke works out to be 482.33 Maybe the bore could be a little bigger but I think that would be it on the stroke. It would probably have a bad rod ratio IMO

Only $4393? I'll take two of em! That's pretty sweet. I wonder if anyone else will make heads for them.

I have seen some 4.5" bore spacing SB2 heads on ebay. I'm sure for enough money You could get a set of billet ones made.

Interesting. It uses a BBC cam. I think I'd save a boatload of money & just build a BBC in the same size (or bigger)...

I was curious about it made to run with the BBC cam as well... Definately a power house!! You go that route, you sure don't want to fall short on quality anywhere else on the engine...

What would be the weight differance in this and a bbc?

For stock OEM stuff, it's 100 Lbs roughly, depending on accessories, intake & head materials.

I think alot of the aftermarket stuff uses big block cam bearings because they are bigger. I don't know if it because of not being able to get enough lift or for strength of the cam it's self or maybe both.
