manual steering

hi,anybody does know,what bother manual steeering box can be swap into my 80 malibu,remember am from chile and the parts are not easy to find like in the states,thanks

I used a 1980's model S10 2wd manual steering box and the attached pitman arm. No issues, installed easily.

thanks,but like i said,in chile its hard to find the s-10,any other aplications?

Have you looked into a rebuilt or remanufactured S10 steering box from a Chilian parts store? If they don't carry them, perhaps they can order one for you.

I can't believe that GM didn't import the S-10 or Sonoma down to Chile...

guys i don`t know if here in chile i can find one of those s-10,bur the s-10 blazer are the same?,what should i ask for to the parts store? s-10 80 year with manual steering,and what engine?.

early chevelle boxes fit as well and are a few pounds lighter
