Will 86 cutlass electric split bench seats fit in my Malibu

It's a 79 with a bench seat and I really like the cutlass electric bench seats. What do yall think?

It will fit , you will just have to wire it up and weld in the inner mounts if it's a 60/40 split and if you don't have them already.

I have the mounts that are holding in the factory seat. Will they work or will I need the mounts from a cutlass?thanx

Is the bench you want to install 1 or 2 pieces?

Is the bench in your Malibu 1 or 2 pieces?

if your bench is 1 piece and the cutlass is 1 piece, then yes direct fit.

if your bench is 1 piece and the cutlass is a 2 piece, Then you will need the inner seat brackets that were in the cutlass.

if your bench is a 2 piece and the cutlass is 1 piece then yes it is a direct fit

this sounds cool, but for some reason i like the 1 single bench mines has, i would love to take it off but worried if i will regret it..

I like the bench seats in mine but it doesn't compare to cutlass seat IMO.
