I have a 79 Bu that I put a 70 chevelle rear in and I am runnin 15x8 with 5.5" bs and 28-12 QTP's tires...Dam close on the inside and trimmed the outter wheel lip to fit!

good deal 64chevelle I got the metal to do the notch but do I want to is the question lol looks like I can take that off my to do list and focus elsewhere maybe next year when I have time to spare and bored will focus on notch/mini tub
I went with the 15x8 with 4.5 Backspacing.....with the 275x60x15. I Have a ton of room inside and close on the outside...I think I'l good at this point....The original weld draglites were 15x10 with 5.5 backspace....They worked OK, but with kids passengers not so much because of the backspacing issue and width issue would rub, more so on the inners......I was able to get the set of 15X8 drag lites used for $200.00 from a friend....
