no i didnt misunderstand ya lol i was just hoping it would bolt right up but i knew better but all in all i will be able to mock some thing up with it your elco hot air how is it doing on the street any heat issues.
none so far. it gets hot so, I will wrap exaust very soon with black wrap. local racer mentioned wetting the wrap to make it easier to handle and will shrink when it dries. have seen 10lbs. now. not parts and spools quick. lm-1 goes on sunday.
cant wait to get mine. So how does it run? Im replacing a 125 shot of nitrous in favor of the turbo, will be nice to have the power all the time and not have to worry about filling bottles.
do you got the link to the turbo you got? because ive been wanting to do a turbo setup but i cant find a turbo thats good quality but yours seems to be nice lol
Nice, I love cheap turbo builds. Ive been thinking about using one of those turbos too, heres a long post about them that started back in '07 on theturboforums.com http://www.theturboforums.com/smf/index.php?topic=96046.0
ya i have seen those turbos get at least one hole season of hard racing cant complain about that for the price lol there are guys out this way using nos jets to restrict the flow of oil so they don't blow seals and the barrings it seams to be working pretty good so far.
on that post everyone who owns and runs one of the knockoff gt45 turbos love'em. everyone of the negative comments are made by people who ASSume they are the same as all the other junk on ebay. make sure you get the 1.05 exaust housing gt45. that is the one that matches what I have.
ya and like i said also even if it did last one season how can you complain about that price i am sure if you dont beat on them to bad you can probably get more than that out of them a buddy of mine is going on two years with his ebay turbo kit
