U just looked into the lsx a little more and what I would do is toss a 4" stroker crank in a 6.0 with some good pistons, use them l92 heads and just change the springs, add a nice cam--talking with the builder he said a 278h cam would be great-- and buy the holden intake for under $400 that matches those heads and it's under $400 with injectors and 90mm t-body.
or.. slap them heads on a stock 6.0 but have them milled to get the comprssion back, or even just pull a 07 escalade L92 motor and swap intakes
