hooking up some guages

i have a temp, battery, and oil pressure guage the oil pressure and the batt guage is not even hooked up and the temp guage is hooked up but it is way off and i am decent with all the mechanical and that fun stuff but when it comes to electrical and wiring i suck ahah so i was wondering how do you get the temp guage to be set right and also how do you hook the other two up and what do you hook them into to get them running?

Excellent link! My 84 Grand Prix dash swap into my Malibu has been giving me fits! I think I need to move the water temp sending unit out of the head and into the intake. Also, I think I erred when I applied thread tape to the unit, that might be interefering with the ground.

Hopefully I can get the temp gauge workign so I can get on with the oil pressure guage and put the whole thing back together!
