getting ready to rebuild my BBC
goals reliable DD rpm limit under 6,000 and .9-1.1:1 hp ratio ~9-9.5:1 c/r
crank is already .020 under going .030 unders
bore is .040 over going to .060 wiht KB202 pistons
its going to cost ~150.00 to under cut the crank and nother 100 or so to re-condision the rods.. should i junk it and pick up a cast steel scat/eagle crank? for ~250
i have been told then stock crank and rods have been ran up-wards of 700hp on claimer motor setups... yes/no?
still have stock O-port head that will be taken out to 2.19/1.88 valvs and ported from 2.06/1.75
block is getting bored and posibly deck.( think its been decked before) might line bore it as well
