Any idea on the camshaft?

340 dome? Guessing it's a -20cc dome would put you 10:1. Mine are -11cc domes and I'm 9:1

These would put you right at 9:1

I'd like to run 87-89 I drive it way more than I thought I would.
I need a better thought out Camshaft to help bleed of some of the compression. Or pistons and cam.

30cc dome. That's 11:1 or better.. With a 118cc chamber

Could convert to E85.. Or re piston with a 10-11cc dome
This is the HR retrocam I'm looking/thinking about

I've thought about the one but keep going back and forth between roller or not. Could do roller gen vi Camshaft swap is supposed to be a good deal.

According to Howard.. Theirs are drop in.. Install just like a flat tappet.
IDK what would be needed to retro a gen 5/6 cam into a 4 block.. You're looking at ~$1000.00 for retro HR cam, lifters and push rods.

I'm rather surprised that stock th350 is still alive behind that BBC.. ..

Yes that is my current cam. Sounds great usually someone telling me they like the sound. It's not bad getting out of its own way. I think I could get more power with the right cam with sound not the focal point. Still need to get some tracks time or dyno and see where I'm at now to get an idea where to start.

I know there are several chassis dynos around Cincinnati/Dayton

Still need to get a few things fixed. Hopefully going to make it to the dyno soon as money allows.
