Axle bearings from China? (Moser bearings are from China.)

Pics will come later...........but I'd like to know the hive mind's opinion first.

Would you put axle bearing from China in your car?


I priced Orielly's brand "National" which is supposed to be made here, but I didn't look at them, i just called. I figured the guy might not even know where they are made. I ordered a set of Mosers for my 8.5, and decided to just go with Moser bearings too.
I was surprised to see they were made in China. So my next question is......are the axles made there too?

What would you do??

I circled the word China in yellow.

I'm lucky that there is a bearing house that stocks Timken Bearings about 30 min away. I'm going there tomorrow.

If you can get a american made bearing i would go with that or north american.

Here is some info I found that may save someone else the leg work.

I called Moser today, and the axles they sell are made here in our country, but they do buy some bearings from China. So, I went to Oreilly's Auto Parts and picked these up.

Made in the good ole' U.S.A. These will be going in my car!!
