i know about the search button and i was looking for sombody to help me out with a few things
i was rebuilding the front end on the cutlass and i did all new ball joints and upper and lower bushings etc...

when i thought about the castor, camber shims....

is there anyone outthere who has any pictures of a correctly aligned drag set up close to stock or? somthing i can base off of? like not set camber to 3.4 degrees and castor to 20*

more like put 3 shims of said thickness in front and 6 shims of said thickness in the rear?

Id like to be a little smarter wording this but im at a lose. the cars in the shop torn down and im about to put the motor in and just looking to save a little time.

Thanks guys
Erik

i will post up the info i got.... used to be a thread on this... its not in the acrhives :(

Alignment settings for G-bodies
• GM settings...
o Caster: +2.8 deg, +/- 1 deg.
o Camber: +.5 deg, +/- .8 deg.
o Toe-in: .1 deg, +/- .2 deg.
• Performance settings (from Global West Suspension)...
o Caster: +2.5 deg. driver's side, +3 deg. Passenger side
o Camber: -.25 deg.
o Toe-in: 1/16"

increase caster will give you more high speed stability
increase camber will allow you to turn in harder.
