600 lift aint that big for a race cam, plenty of guys running cams much bigger than that, whats important is the duration numbers, as that determines what rpm your cam starts to make power.
30 over 454, 9:1, 781 heads, comp 270 cam, hooker headers, dual 3" with moroso spiral flows.
Still need to tune it and install shifter, gauges, tach, relays ..........
Took this yesterday. This is my 12 yr old in the seat having some fun, no he's not driving, YET! He has been helping me a bit more here lately so I guess he deserves a little fun. Honestly I think that I enjoy his fun even more than he does.
My Camaro project is starting to come together. It has the same sbc that I removed from my Malibu before it went to it's new home. Thought I would post a new video since it now has a different exhaust system. I used the same Flowmaster 40 mufflers, but this time it has talpipes. I had planned to do all 3" , but decided to stick with the 2.5" front to back in order to build a little bit more torque for the street driving and less gear. I think it sounds nice, but still is a bit loud for extended drives.
