So I'm modifying a stock gas tank to have an insert that will hold two Walbro 450 LPH pumps, my concern is baffling. Should I create a recess under the pumps to give them sort of a sump to keep them submersed under acceleration and braking, or would a sheet metal barrier with trap doors around the sides of the pumps be better? Looking for input, let me know what your thoughts are.

If you start with a Grand National tank it will have the baffling.

The GN tank has a baffle directly under the pump. I am placing my pump in a different location and so having a GN tank would not help.

How about using an Aeromotive Stealth pump system? I just installed one in my Wagon's new gas tank and it is a well though out, well made setup. I am very happy with it.

I have looked at the Aeromotive setup and its not really what I'm wanting to do. I will look inside of the tank to see if it has any current baffles.

So Holley has this Hydramat that snaps onto the Walbro 450.
