Interesting... would work well for a rearend without upper control arms.

I guess you could cut off the existing ears off any rear to use this.

Well that just looks weird... I understand the pivot for the leaf spring, but I can't understand why not stick with a 4-link :-k :-s :lol:

The only reason I could think of them doing that is because they didn't have a welder.

The SSM kit would work, but after buying them for $400, and paying to narrow housing and axles, I would think you'd be close to a G body 8.5....at least in areas where they turn up for sale

For now I'll just plan on that route I think, unless I manage to find one locally for a decent price. I've seen them elsewhere online but I decided to bit the bullet and go my own route... I only paid $75 for the rear, gonna go at it piece by piece (narrow, carrier/gears, axles, brakes). I want to keep it GM just so I'm not buying parts that fit different makes & cause more confusion.
