My '81 El Camino has the sweep speedo and idiot lights. I have o.p, temp. and amp. gauges under the radio. I want to put gauges (speedp, tach. o.p, and fuel plus turn and brake lights where the speedo is now using the shadow box blownbigblock makes and was used in the father/son build. and temp. and amp gauges to the right of the column. My question is, can I use the existing wiring to connect to new gauges and lights?
Thanks

You will need sending units for temp/oil pressure but yes you can use the current wiring.

Yes, you can use existing wiring if available. As Doober said, you will need to use the sending unit that is included with the aftermarket gauges. I didn't use the factory wiring since most was replaced due to the EFI setup, which used it's on harness.
