What year front end is this?

Ok guess i will have to see if 81 will fit in the ole 80. Thanks for the info fellas.

The grilles, bezels & header panels can be mixed on 80 & 81. You may have to drill new mounting holes in the header panel for the headlight bezels &/or grille.

If you really HAVE to know if your header panel is an 80 or an 81, GM was kind enough to put the model year on the header panel, under the passenger side headlight bezel at the bottom. Mine reads "SAE H80 GM1A1". Next time I have Madge out of the garage I'm going to pop off the bezel & affirm that it's a similar setup for '81, since that's what year header panel is on her at the moment.
