what would you recommend for a clutch and flywheel?

ahh yes then get used to the expensive clutches lol....I'm running a Weir bellhousing, normal $170 flywheel and normal $270 CF DF clutch

just looked....wow flywheels have gone up in the last few years $220 now, I paid $169

That's one reason I thought it would be better off going with the adapter bellhousing, a regular 26-spline clutch isn't as expensive as the LT1-specific clutch.

what about the center force II ???? good?? bad?? stay away from??? im not making serious hp so im guessing i could get away with it says holds 60% more than stock and the dual friction holds 90% more than stock??? what do you think???

i wonder whats so special about the LT1?????

the LT1 uses a reverse pull off clutch...mechanically it works the opposite of a normal clutch

a LT1 has the slave mounted behind the clutch and pushes forward to pull the pressure plate off to release the clutch....they changed back to the normal style clutch and a hydraulic throwout for the LS1

Another option would be to run a hydraulic throwout bearing (no clutch fork needed), then you can run whichever trans/bellhousing/flywheel/clutch combo you want so long as the throw is correct.

just priced one out from jegs $619.00 :shock: yikes wonder if i can find i cheaper somewhere else... ls6 tommy what would you recommend using with a hydraulic set up? keeping in mind im budget based. thanks - Shawn
