What size tire?

I have a 81 bu and my wheels are crager d-window wheels 17 in. x 8 in., 5 x 4.75 in. Bolt Circle, 4.5 in. Backspace.


What size tire will I need to tuck neatly under the fender well without any body or frame interference?

I ran 275/40/17s on my old malibu with no issues but my wheels were 4" backspace.

mine are 17x8 4.5 bspace....... i dont think that will make much difference
