What did U do to your G-body today??

Went to the track friday night...and today i bought a 4.8 LS

Installed my freshened-up steering column, painted my steering shaft, and installed my complete new brakes on the rear of my 78. Hopefully going to bleed the system today and start her up for the first time this year and take her out for a drive. Just installed new gears and a new posi, so I can't wait to see the difference!

Thanks. It's still a learning process. I hope I can get it straight. The shop I'm taking it to, is going to let me do some painting, which will be another lesson.

Pull a few more small dent out of the inside of tailgate, dents on wheel housing in the bed. Also used my airfile tosand on bed floor. Then pulled some dents that where in the bed floor.

Had 3 dented areas on the back of the cab. The top one pulled out pretty easy. The bottom 2 were next to the floor. These were the hard ones. I started to Sand between them because it looked low but felt smooth. I found ripples under the paint. So I pulled each area as I came across it. It looks better, but probably not finished.

Brought home my new 4.8 the other night...so much for keeping my car 'simple'

I got rid of a lil weight. I took the mount for the windshield wiper motor and the panel the wipers mount to off.

Those 4.8 seem to like revs.
