umi performance from summit racing good or need some thing better? adjustable or none upper control arms?

Some may disagree, but those UMI are fine. Go with the adjustable ones. Honestly, though, upon acceleration, the lower arms try to compress (shrink in length), and the uppers are trying to be pulled apart (grow in length), so I believe the uppers don't need to be incredibly strong. It's the lowers that need to be beefy. The adjustability comes into play when you have a lowered car, and want to keep the pinion angle consistant. Or, for strictly drag racing, adjust the pinion angle so that at ride height the pinion is 2 to 3 degrees downward. I think that's right. or I'm wrong and just rambling :lol: :lol: :lol:
i have UMI non adjustable tubular upper and lower arm on my car. they're very nice pieces! when i bought them, i didn't know i'd be racing the car more than street driving it. i'm upgrading to some adjustable uppers this winter, hopefully. keep an eye out for some slightly used uppers soon!
