That's why I want to go with TPI, the torque is down low instead of being higher up where most traditional intakes are. The only reason I didn't go TPI when I swapped Vortec heads on is because the truck is currently my daily driver, and I would have to send my ECM back to Bob at DynamicEFI.com, along with modifying the fuel rails and wiring. The GMPP Vortec intake was basically a bolt & go deal, and I had the head swap done in 2-3 days.
