I noticed you got one from them a while back. Is the discount a percentage, or is it a flat amount? I'm sure eventually I'll have to replace the one in my truck after putting the 383 in, which is why I'm asking.slimbo5 said:

actually just got it last week. im not really sure what the amount is based on but i can tell you mine was 1950 and i got it for 1650. but mine is a top shelf unit. they offer them for all levels.
Well that's about 15%, which is pretty good I think. I'm debating on either the street/strip or the towing version... I don't think I'll be making north of 400hp but who knows.

I'll be getting a 700R4/4L60 for the truck... although with 3.08s in the rear I could just about run a TH350 :lol:
I had one of those Summit transmissions. I wasn't to impressed. Soft shifts and it started acting funny after the first few passes. Call Redneck! I had my trans done locally with a converter and a 36 element sprag and HD drum from Redneck. Also put in a a low ,reverse sprag from a 700r4. Works fantastic. I think the one from Summit is a warmed over stock rebuild.
