starter issue

i got a mini starter from summit and it only lasted 6 month. what is a good mini starter that will last long and is small so i will have room for my longtube headers.

I have had mine in 3 cars and 7 engines small blocks and now in my current big block 12-13 years old still going strong.

I have run 75.00 ebay starters and 300.00 overpriced named brand starters
and saw no differences ..honest .....
