My question is about the front brake line setup on my malibu. When i brakestand at the line, even after pumping up the brakes, sometimes i push through the beams. I would like to bring my RPMs up higher so i can get better 60' times off the line. I believe my regular rubber front brake lines are ballooning. Would going with stainless steel lines hold the pressure better and get my 60' times down? Thanks.

I think going to front braided lines instead of the factory rubber would be much more effective than swapping steel for stainless... An aftermarket prop. valve would fix the issue you are having. My car has the best 60 foot when I flash the converter from idle rather than loading it on the brakes. Just hell on the tree trying to take up 2600 rpms and being consistent!

Are you pushing through the beams with the front tires locked, or are they turning? If they're locked, increasing the brake pressure at the calipers will solve nothing. You need bigger front tires...
