Thought I'd do some looking for anyone interested in articles, part numbers, and some pricing on carbed intakes/ignition setups for the LS motors (sticky?), please add if there's anything I missed! enjoy :)

I believe so , the spring upgrade is due to the article using the GM Hot Cam, I have that P/N too if you think it should be added

l 92 heads won't work with a ls1 block... although they will work with the 6.0L truck blocks, thats the route i took. also you can still use those cast intakes with something like a wilson elbow...again that the route i'm goin

Are both those harnesses needed for the carbed setup?

Are you talking about these two?

If so then no, the 2nd one is for adapting to the factory EFI harness somehow (I don't know much anything about the details on it, whether the factory computer is needed, etc...). The first one may be needed to plug everything in, but I think it's more for if you plan to mount the controller somewhere besides on the intake.
