Rear manual disc brake upgrade for an 8.5

I was looking into Wilwood but now I am told that they do not make a true bolt on kit .I would have to cut the rear end and weld on new end etc etc..Does anyone know of a kit OTHER than SSBC or MP brakes that will bolt on to the stock 8.5 ends ..And I do not want to run a parking brake and I will be running manual brakes..Thanks..

I have the SSBC rear disc's on my 7.5. I beleave these are the same kit as for the 8.5. It is a true bolt on kit. I am still trying to figure out the master cylinder though.

If you have a rear disc kit on your 7.5, it should bolt right on your GN 8.5 with no issues at all.

I know that but that is not what I am asking ..I am asking who makes kits for these rears

Well you can use the SSBC kit, but it is a little more pricey. I think they are going for $750.00 give or take some.

Try Speed Way motors at http://www.speedwaymotors.com they have a couple of complete kits or you can piece one together with the calipers and hats that you like.
