Thinking I'll go with 225/45/17's on the front. They'd be 25" tall on 8" Street Lites. 255/45/17's on the rear. 26" tall on either 8" or 9.5" Street Lites. Not sure which one to use on the rear. 5" back spacing on the front......I've done the B-Body brake swap. 4" back space on the rear. Any suggestions on the width of the rear wheels with the 255/45/17's? I'm running a stock width 9". The rear rotors push em out about 3/8" per side.

Why such a short tire on the front? And why on a 8" wheel? Personally Id run a 225/50/17 (26" tall) on a 7" wheel so the tire wont look so stretched, and they'll be the same height as the rears.

You're probaby right  It's like my signature says. I'm lost. Gonna be spending some serious cash soon. Not really sure which way to go. Rule of thumb I've heard is to go 85% of the advertized section width of the tire for the wheel width. Street Lites 17's come in 8 and 9.5" widths. Not the best of options for the big- n-little theme. Wish this was easier. Thanks for the input. I appreciate it. I'll be working the numbers for sure.

You can get them in 7-11" widths http://www.newstalgiawheel.com/wheel_detail.asp?subcat2=1027&subcat3=1027100

Huh???? didn't realize they made a seven inch in a 17. Only a 4.5" b.s. though. I did the B-body brake swap and will need a 5" b.s. The 12" rotors push the wheel out about 1/2". Thanks man.
