Cruisin' the Coast 2013 was recently completed here. 8 days and over 7000 registered cars. One of the cars at the Edgewater Mall "show" that got the most jaw dropping looks was a resto 71 (I believe) Mustang.
Solid Black. Almost flawless. So slick my daughter could pull her blonde hair away from her head and see a strand of her hair in the refelction.
The finest paint finish I have ever seen. (I'm 61).
My point is prep and finish quality of your paint is more important than anything.
You can and will draw a crowd with a solid color.....done right.
