I am not sure where to start as I am not an electrical person. I have wiring, but i have an 87 El Camino that has brake and turn signal problems. Front signals work fine, but no brake lights or turn signals. Checked the bulbs, and the fuse, and they all appear to be good any ideas of where to start looking for a possible short? This is how I feel ](*,)

Re: NEED ELECTRICAL HELP

So you have NO lights in the back? If so check the taillight harness connector.

Re: NEED ELECTRICAL HELP

Give your brake light switch a look too. Won't make any difference concerning turn signals, but it's not hard to get to, probably wouldn't hurt to check it out while you're down there. Could also be the turn signal switch itself, which is inside the column, or something to do with the wiring on the column itself.

Got it fixed for now. Someone hooked up trailer lights on the car, and that was the problem. Splices in the wiring. I will eventually have to rewire the back half of the car if not all of it, btu for now it is working.
Thanks for the advice
