Finally got the carb to FI swap done...the only problem I have is the new MAF I got off Ebay was fubar, so its in speed density mode. Idles smooth compared to the carb. Cant wait to get it all tuned....

I know I've asked you before but I cant remember...is that just a stock LQ4? What did you run again? NA and on the bottle?

I just put a deposit on a 40k mile '05 LQ4, gonna pick it up febuary 1st. Going with a set of scholenfeld 1 3/4" long tubes (gonna have to modify a tube or 2), truck accessories,, transdapt motor mount adapter plates, and then I'll decide what to do about the oil pan.

I was debating doing a cam swap now, maybe just start with an inexpensive setup and work my way up. I gotta pickup a new converter for the 2004r (gonna go with either a Yank SS3600 or SS4000) and have my trans checked over.

just a cam and headers. with the carb and 125 shot I ran 11.4 at 119, with 3.42 gears and a slow 1.9 60 foot. Not sure what its going to run this year with FI, should be close.
