how many 8.8 Mustang rear ends?

I'm assuming this is a cheaper option than a 9" rear end??

just did this swap and it works great. used the stock lower gbody control arms and mustang length double adjustable upper control arms. Even the drive shaft did not have to be changed. Just used a ujoint out of the mustang and pressed into the factory driveshaft and used the mustang pinion flange to driveshaft. width on the rear was fine for a 15x8 with 4.5" backspacing.

Did you use a kit or did you use something else? Did you have to modify the 8.8 in any way?

no kit i have a mustang and i used the upper control arms from it and sphearical bushings. all i did to the 8.8 was make air bag brackets, which would be welding on spring perches for anyone without air ride.
