my glove compartment unlock wit the key, but it doesnt open, i dont think its jammed or anything, it just turn with the key only, then it wont budge all the way, can anyone help in fixing this, or if i can take off the lid without breaking anything so i can replace the cylinder, or put a new lid on, thanks..

to remove the lock cylinder you have to put the key in the lock and turn it to the right (I THINK) and pull the lock cylinder assembly out of the door.
