Who makes a good clutch spring compressor for the TH400? I would like one that works on both the forward and direct drums. I see OTC has a nice one, but it wouldn't work on the forward drum without pressing the input shaft off. And KD makes one that might work, but it looks kind if cheap. Does it work better than it looks in the picture, and does the wire that wraps around the drum clear the input shaft OK, or does it work different?
Or does someone recommend a better one? If possible I would like it to work on the OD clutch of a 4L80E in the future too. Obviously I would need the seal sleeve tools at that point, for now I am just looking for a good way to eliminate the dangerous wobbly c-clamps, and I don't like cheap foreign tools.
