I have Wilwood brakes on the rear of my car, and had the calipers mounted on the front side of the axle instead of the rear side. This was done accidentally. Why is it recommended that they are mounted on the back side instead of the front?
How many pistons do they have? Many multiple piston calipers have different sized pistons to equalize pad wear & can only be mounted one way in relation to disc rotation.
