4 wheel disk break and parking brake

I have a 4 wheel set up out of an 8.5 79-81 TA and would like to put it on the 78 malibu but it is a stickshift now so will I loose my parking brake or what will I have to do to keep it. I never use the parking brake on any automatic cars but I do all the time with standard trans. I used to have an 89 regal with 4 wheel brakes and you had to pump it up to set it I believe. Were those not the rear calibers with the integral parking brake?

Oh no, I'm now getting spelling corrected! I changed it. #-o :lol:

I used to spell "Regal" wrong all the time too. I'm suprised i got that one right.

I pulled them out of the attic today and yes they are the style you speak of. Its been awhile since i've seen them.......bla bla bla.... Thanks for your reply. This is basically why I've been putting off, putting them on. I can be such an idiot sometimes! Jim
