I drove my Monte this entire week as my sole vehicle. I logged about 300 miles on it, everything from stop and go to highway and everything in between for work. I took the boys to camp in it, went grocery shopping and even got a few thumbs up. The holley sniper EFI gave it a entire new feel. The AC was never turned off, it never went over 213 degrees in traffic and was flawless. While I discovered a couple things I would like to do to it now that were not on my list, the items are going from major items to detail items.

All in all, I am very happy!

Dont worry there was some fail mixed in. My three factory gas gauges did not work nor did my known good autometer unit I have as a temporary. The sender unit tested good so it must be the wire between the sender and the bulk plug on the gauges. I will fix that soon.

grabbed one of our extra driveshafts and took an inch out for the 8.5 and threw it in the Bonneville. Then found out someone over-torqued the bearing support bolts and had the rear almost locked up. Good thing I caught that before driving the car.

Also got some prices to get my heads done up (valve job, surfaced, etc), so I need to get cracking on the port work so I can get the 311 together

Another week in the books with the Monte, another 300 miles and another happy smile at the end. I wish I would have done this Sniper earlier, man what a pleasure to drive it is now.

Drove mine under it's own power out of the garage for the first time in two years. Replaced the frame, installed RideTech suspension, tire, wheels, and a whole lot more. Few misc items to finish up and I can take it down the road.
