Hi guys. Doing LS 6.0 turbo setup in my 81' malibu, wondering which is best way to go on this. Some have said speed density with just map sensor is better and other with mass air sensor is better because o2 sensors are active but I'd think the mass air sensor in front of turbo intake would restrict air flow intake. Using OEM computer, high impedance injectors and sending harness off to be modified for what I need. Thanks

I would imagine you could find a larger maf to use, possibly aftermarket. From what I've read maf seems to be more accurate because it measures the amount of air going through. Map is still used when maf is present, just not so much for fueling.

Using a SD tune and a 2.5-3 bar map sensor makes for a better time tuning...

I have only built two turbo car but the one did 9 ' s in the 1/4 with just a 2.5 bar map and wideband o2 and a good tune and in a Honda delsol I drove as a daily driver
